  • My grandpa died eleven years ago. Not a day goes by that I don't think about him. And I dream about him often.

  • Yeah... my dad. I miss his accent, telling us to be quiet he's watching tv, calling us all to the kitchen to eat one of his creme cakes, his barbecues...

  • Of course. Who doesn't?

  • I can still hear my grampa giving me advice and telling me his old stories. He died yrs ago (already?!)... and was like a 2nd dad to me during the decade before he died.

My gramma hasn't died yet, but with the Alzheimers, she isn't who she used to be. Its almost like she already is. She doesn't remember anything or anyone anymore. She's a different lady. So yeah, I miss the gramma I knew all my life, not this shadow she became. I'd be suprised if she's still around in 5 yrs time. I feel like I already said goodbye to my gramma while she still knew who I was several yrs ago, now I'm some strange pretty girl that visits her and I have to remind her who I am.
