How can I wean my 16 month old?

My daughter has been nursing as soon as she came out! She's has never had a bottle or even a pacifier! She does eat regular food and has quite the appetite but she still wants to nurse and is very attached to my right breast. I have tried everything! Or maybe I haven't... Any suggestions?

  • Slowly cut out a feeding a day and replace it with a glass of water.

Or let her wean on her own. Most kids stop before 3 anyway.

  • Maybe she's not ready to wean. Why not try going until 2 years?
