im 39 weeks and 3 days

today i was laying on the couch and i felt myself leaking so i went and wiped and there was a little brown discharge in it...i got checked tuesday and i was 2cm..but could the brown be from where i got checked?

  • hi i guessing this is your first pregancy it is probably one of two things. when you are pregnant your cervix becomes very sensitive and can sometomes result in spotting after a vaginal exam or having sex which is completley normal or if u havent already lost it you are probably losing your mucuos plug which is just a sign of your approaching labor. Just to be safe its always a good idea to call your doctor. best wishes and im sure theres nothing to worry about.

  • well i lost my mucus plug awhile back then i started dilating then now im stopped at 2cm..

    i havent had sex in like 4 days....
    i got checked tuesday..

    so im not sure my hubby thinks its ok..

  • im sure everything is fine maybe you shud call your doc just to be on the safe side if your worried about it.
