Does anyone use a depilatory cream?

I'm trying it for the first time instead of waxing, but I would like to know how others feel about it. Thanks.

  • I used it and was impressed by the results, but it turned out I was allergic. Good luck! :)

  • My dermatologist said those chemicals tend to be too harsh for the skin.

  • I use it on legs and my vaginal area...all the time. I love it.

  • No I tried that once and it burnt my skin. For hair removal in places I don't like to talk about, I use an epilator. I bought mine at Sally's. Once you use it, I guarantee you'll love it!!

  • I use waxing instead or shaving.

It's just a harsher version of a chemical straightening serum. (VERY high alkaline). Yes it can be VERY irritating to the skin (which is why when you chemically straighten your hair, you typically use a barrier between your hair and scalp.

(for those unaware of what it is, it's like nair or other like products).

  • Oh geez...I hope that doesn't happen. Well, at least I don't have to go in public for a few days...lol.
