Who gives their kids

juice?? I do, but I cut it half with water always.. a little more water then juice and I give them 100% juice. I ask this because someone I know doesn't give their kids juice - just water and sounded so against it??? I don't see the big deal in it?? its not unhealthy or being given all day long. Giving straight juice is bad I think, way too much sugar & bad for the teeth.

  • Every day. They usually get 50/50 with water and juice - real juice, no added sugar or preservatives or anything, but still juice.

  • I did. Juice is good and good for them.

  • My kids are older and they get 100% juice. I don't cut it anymore but they are limited to just 8 oz per day.

  • Very rarely at home.  It's not forbidden but it's treated as a treat just like pop.  When we do have juice in the house they get 1 juice box or 1 6oz glass a day and that's it.  When we are out to eat they can order juice if they want.

They also don't drink milk at home.  It's used for cereal and cooking and that's it.  At home my kids just drink water.

  • I give my kid juice, at first watered down, now I give him 1 Juice a day if that. It has something to do with the sugar, hyper, and bad teeth. However, I don't think its such a big deal!

  • It's all about what the pediatricians reccommend. Mine said juice was fine. The boy I watch, his ped said juice is just wasted calories, so he doesn't drink it. Lately, my son has become a little hellion so we stopped giving him juice that contains too much sugar.

  • I give juice but add water so it's not too too sugary
