Are there any pets you would not allow?

Kids love animals, that's a given. I'm pretty easy going with cats and dogs, and I can deal with little hamsters and critters like that as long as I dont have to touch them. But I draw the line at snakes and spiders. I'm just not that good a mama, lol. What do you draw the line at?

  • Cats & Dogs... I can agree to just about anything else - I've had spiders, snakes, lizards, rats, mice, fish... I'm cool... But cats and dogs, forget it. I don't want anything that big running crazy through my house that I didn't birth...

  • Pretty much anything that does not have fur or feathers with the exception of fish.

  • No snakes. No tarantulas. Both creatures seem to pick up some vibe from me and become aggressive. Maybe I smell like prey?

I can and have dealt with cats, dogs, mice, lizards, hamsters, ferrets, fish and birds.

  • If it has fur or feathers, alright. Anything else is a big NO! (I don't do snakes, lizards, etc...) Oh, but my son has a turtle... ok, I'll make an exception for turtles! LOL

  • I draw the line at spiders. We used to have a ball python, but we gave her to a better home (we had two cats and a dog and the cat were starting to show serious interest in our snake, didn't' want any of them getting hurt!)
So yeah, basically spiders and any wild animals.
