I want peanut butter cookies!! Now whats your best recipe??

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, I cup peanut butter, 1 cup white sugar, 1 cup packed brown sugar, 2 eggs, 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour, 1 tsp. baking powder, 1/2 tsp. salt, & 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda.

    Cream together butter, peanut butter and sugars. Beat in eggs.
    In seperate bowl sift together flour, baking powder and soda, and salt and stir into batter.
    Put batter if refrigerator for an hr.
    Roll into 1 inch balls (should make about 24 cookies) Preheat oven to 375 degrees and bake for about 10 mins, might be a little less or more time depending on oven, just make sure to check the cookies.

  • if u want them chewier add another 1/4 cup flour and 1/4 cup peanut butter and bake at 350 for 10 mins.

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
    1/2 cup peanut butter
    1/4 cup shortening
    1/4 cup margarine, softened
    1 egg
    1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
    3/4 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon baking powder
    1/4 teaspoon salt
    Mix sugars, peanut butter, shortening, butter and egg in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until firm.Heat oven to 375ºF.Shape dough into 1 1/4-inch balls. Place about 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten in crisscross pattern with fork dipped into sugar.Bake 9 to 10 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 5 minutes; remove from cookie sheet. Cool and enjoy.
