Did anyone have to get a pap smear while pregnant? I did and i'm only 8wks

  • Yea I have had one with all 3 of my babies :) Around 6 weeks with each one :)

  • I did multiple times... They even did the internal sonogram at 12 weeks here.

  • yes i thought everyone got a pap smear at the start of each pregnancy i had them with both a a diff dr each time i think its to make sure everything is normal down there and to check for stds

  • Yes, I did. I asked my doctor about it, and she told me that it was okay. I was surprised, too.

  • Every time, all four. I have a friend who did not because they didn't do it back then. She lost her baby at 23 weeks because she had cervical cancer and her cervix would not hold the baby in any longer. She had a full hysterectomy after. I would want to know, to be safe.
