Do feet get colder with age?

My feet were always warm until I hit my late 30's and now with every year that passes they cannot get warm enough...I mean in my teens and 20's I could go barefoot in the winter and feel just fine.

  • YES! It's a circulation issue. Mine are much colder now than 20 years ago......and my dad (age 70) is always complaining that his are freezing.

  • I think it has to do with circulation. My husband is always really warm so I just let him warm my feet up. lol.

  • yes. as you get older you skin actually gets thiner and you will begin to lose fat which stores heat. The circulation is not as good either. try some foot massaging to get the blood flowing

  • I think it does get worse with age...I must have bad circulation...sometimes my feet get so cold they hurt.

  • I really don't think so. My feet are always super warm---I keep them out of the covers at night, even in the winter, because they are so warm and I am 68. Good circulation?Healthy? I think so. Age doesn't mean that you fall apart...LOL.
