is four months to early for a child to be teething?

I have a four month old and he is already cutting teeth at the bottom. my 2 year old was much older i wonder is that normal?

  • No way I think my dd started teething at 2 mth's. She got two bottom teeth at four mth's.

  • Both my girls started teething at 1 month or so they didn't get teeth until around six months. There is no set month for a baby to start teething, they just might not get them until 5-8 month. Yes, it is normal at 4 months.

  • Completely normal. Thats the average age I think. Mine started at 3 months.

  • nope I have heard of some babies being born with teeth my nephew had 2 teeth by 3 months & started cutting 2 more right after!
