Halloween costumes, please help me!

Does anyone know any homeade costumes for a baby. I cant find anything at walmart small enough for him and i really cant afford those expensive costumes off line. Any ideas! Please help.

  • sounds like me! i can find nothing in my son's size except that expensive stuff. so we just got some cowboy boots and a cowboy hat, we're gonna throw on some jeans and a flannel button-up shirt, and he's gonna be a cowboy. here's another idea: put a black trash bag over them (make sure you put holes in for the head and arms, stuff it with newspaper, and duct tape the bottom so it won't fall out. you've got yourself a raisin!

  • You could look on Craigslist and there's a TON of costumes moms are trying to get rid of on there. Usually they're around $10. I just asked people that I knew that had kids older than my dd and asked them if they had a halloween costume. I actually found one that fits her perfectly!!! She's going to be a giraffe. It's cuter than it sounds.

  • If you know how to sew, you can do a lot! I made my twin boys' costumes for the same amount I would've paid for one!
