Do you have a selective or broad menu for at home meals?

Me personally, find myself eating the same things no matter how many menus i try to make up?

  • We have a few favorites but I like to experiment a 2-3 times a week. I love the site ... there are SO many ideas on there if you want to try something new.

  • We try to mix it up, but we usually eat the same things. Week 1 we'll eat Sloppy Joe's and then week 3 we'll eat them again. lol.

  • We have our favorites and a few standby-meals, but I like to try something new at least once a week. If it's a hit with the kids...I put into the rotation!

  • I tend to get bored if I have the same thing on my menu. Sometimes some of the foods I make are almost the same thing I just named different. (EG: attempt at "Asian spaghetti" pretty much turned out to be Teriyaki Chicken over chow-mein. lol!) Otherwise, I have enough easy recipes to make something different each night of the month but some nights we have our cravings -- like Beef and Noodles -- which will appear possibly twice or three times in a month.

  • I have to try something new at least 2 or 3 times a month. Luckily for me, my DH and oldest DS get bored more quickly than I do and they start making the "new" meals.

  • I have a list of 60+ meals to choose from and I try 2 or 3 new ones each month. I plan my menus by the month and I will include favorites once a month, rotate the rest. Very broad menu.
