  • I don't know, but I too am seeing more & more purple halloween items, and less orange & black. Not that there is anything wrong with the color purple....

  • I think it's because purple is kind of the color of shadows and twilight? Maybe? LOL

  • I love purple! I started seeing it last year all over the place during Halloween. Mostly in decorations and cooking supplies and such. It's a "Happy" Halloween color.

  • Now that you mention it, I am seeing a lot of purple this year on costumes and witches hats ...even signs. I like it!

  • I have purple halloween lights outside. I agree with the shadows and twilight....it's like black lights and can be fun and spooky
