where can i get free books for my 5 yr old?

my 5 yr old has a 100 book challenge in school and all the books that she has are baby books and at the moment i really cant afford to buy her any new ones and there isnt a library close by, any good suggestions

  • salvation Army has books for like 10 cents each...I dont know about free ones. If there is a used book store nearby you might be able to trade her old books in for new ones.

  • Could she swap books with her friends? with relatives? Since you have computer access, she could read books online, too. Check out:

  • The school library and public library? At our school they have a book program for kids that can't afford to go buy 1000 books. Or you could also try talking to your PTA sometimes they have the best info on different sources for things like that.
