9 Month Baby

My baby is 9 months and last week i introduced her the yougurt , but 2 hrs after she ate the yougurt she started vomiting, i tried again last night and the same thing happened, afte 2 hrs again she did the same thing, after she vomits she is completely normal, she is not cranky, what can it be......please help

  • could be that she isn't ready, could be an allergy, could be an intolerance. i'd wait a month or 2 and try again.

  • why not stop feeding her yougurt and have her tested for a dairy allergy?!

  • If the baby is cow's milk formula fed then it isn't a milk problem. It could be you are giving to much or the kind of yogurt you are using. We used to wait until after a year and you may want to wait. There are baby yogurts like Yo-Baby that are very smooth. You don't want to give the whole thing. Spoon a few spoonfuls out into a little bowl and feed from that so you don't contaminate the whole thing with saliva. Start with just a couple of teaspoons or less.

  • It could be any number of things. Hold off on the yogurt for a few months.

  • My son started doing the same thing when he was 18 months. He turned out to be severely lactose intolerant. I'd hold off on the dairy for a while.
