desert plants...

anyone know what kind of pretty desert plants that require low water and low maintainece I can get for an AZ backyard (not cacti related)?

  • Yes! We planted all soft plants (we're in Las Vegas) because I didn't want something poking my kids. We put in some dwarf oleanders, some red tip Photinia, Orange Jubilee, and Little Johns (my favorite!).

  • I am writing these down...we are relandscaping because the old owners of our new house were a bit lazy in the yard area...we want pretty and dignified LOL

  • The only ones I know, cactus, but you can always make a search in the computer for perfect plants for dry areas.
