  • No I do not think it is bad. I let my kids do it all the time.

  • i guess it depends on if it scares them or not. i don't care what my dd watches as long as it doesn't effect her.

  • Nope. My kids watch them too. They love them. How are they hurt by watching a movie? They aren't, so I don't see any reason why not to let them.

  • My kids love them too.. My oldest two watch them all the time. My youngest could careless, he would rather play the computer than watch tv or a movie..

  • depends on their age and the movie. I don't like horror movies and I'm not okay with super bloody films... whether its action or horror... almost feel like it desentizes BUT...
its natural to like scary stories/movies... the thrill/chill of being scared while totally safe... its prob. as old as cavemen ... scary stories around the campfire.

  • I really think it depends on the kid. One of my kids loves scary movies, and he isn't affected by them. One of my other kids is scared watching Scooby Doo and ends up unable to sleep at night. So we let the scary movie kid watch stuff that is scary but that we think is age appropriate, and we have him watch them when his little sister isn't watching because it would be irreponsible of us to subject her to something that we know will scare the crap out of her!
