I need to get a tooth pulled can I while pregnant?

It chipped and is starting to hurt I dont think I could handle it for the rest of the pregnancy.

  • Yep I had to have 14 pulled when 7 months pregnant with the one before this one.

  • Cant they just fix it? I mean like filling it? I don't know why it would need to be pulled. Dental work is generally safe during pregnancy.

  • Most dental work is fine during pregnancy; as long as you let them know, they can make the necessary arrangements.

  • You can have dental work done, you just can't have x-rays. I had a tooth pulled (kept getting abcessed) when I was 4-5 months pregnant.

  • You can do it but their are risk and precautions that need to be taken.

  • The tooth itself needed a root cnal anyway it is in pretty bad shape.

  • My dentist asked for my OB t fax him an approval letter but it was ok. I had a root canal done when i was 4 months,
