Belly measuring small?

I always measure small ( tape measurer) when I am pregnant. For example I was 36 wks with a 31 1/2 measurement with my daughter, but she was perfect! My doctors always say I hide baby well;-p
Did you: measure small
measure big
measure perfectly?

  • I measured small too! I was always a week or two behind where I was "supposed" to be. Both my girls had to be delivered via c-section because they wouldn't come out...the doc performing my second c-section even had trouble getting her out that way! She said, "Boy, you've sure got her in here good!" Both girls were 7lb+ though, so I don't know how they hid so well! lol

  • i look small as i have hardly gained weight, but baby is growing like crazy - my belly measured 36 at 34 weeks. with my daughter though, my ob kept telling me i was small but i was tiny then and she said some people just have smaller babies. she finally decided to send me for an ultrasound at 37 weeks and we discovered the placenta had been malfunctioning and my daughter wasn't growing as much as she should be and her heart was fading in and out. this time i am high risk because of that and they are keeping a very close eye on baby - he is doing great but i'd rather have them be overly cautious after that experience.

  • I am a petite person but my tummy has measured very large for all my babies. I am 36 weeks and measuring 40 inches. I do have 10lb. babies and always have a very large amount of amniotic fluid. The normal amount of amniotic fluid size is average 2lbs and mine is between 8-10 lbs.
