what is something you eat when you are nauseated and need to keep food down?

i'm starving to death..i'm on strong antibiotics that is making me really sick. What is something i can eat other than crackers. i ate mac n chs earlier and thought i could keep it down but it just came up..along with my peanut butter tst from this morning..ick. i'm so hungry. i'm craving soup. potato soup. do you think i could keep it in for atleast a few hours anyways? what do you eat when you are feeling icky?

  • Try maybe a chicken noodle soup(with more broth then veggie) with toast.Hope you feel better. =)

  • i love eating frozen fruit when i'm nauseous. only thing i can usually keep down... frozen mango chunks, frozen blueberries, or frozen grapes....

  • toast some bread then put just a slice of cheese on it....it always helps me.

  • I would just try some Saltine Crackers & Ginger Ale for now- i always eat a piece of Peppermint Candy or Gum when i feel sick- hope you feel better soon!

  • I usually stick with saltines or pretzels. I also suck on lollipops, the sweet always seems to ease my stomach. I also drink tea or soda with real sugar, not diet.

  • Anything with ginger in it will calm your stomach. My mother was told that when she was on chemo. Also graham crackers are very good

  • eating ginger will help...its not exactly tasty but it does work. Try some rice or toast. Even apple sauce.
