  • Nope, I went to Egypt 6 weeks after 9/11. I had the trip planned for months, friends and family begged me not to go but I told them that NO terrorists were going to make me live in fear. I had a great trip and everyone there was very nice.

  • No. I have lived and traveled in the MIddle East. I will not live my life in fear because then "they" would win.

  • I would cxl, My family means way more than any vacation would. The only way I would not is if I was guaranteed 110% nothing would happen!

  • I would most likely still go. It also depends on where we were going in Europe because some of the places there are very benign and most likely have a less chance of having an issue then here in the states.

  • I work 4 an airline & I heard about this @ work 2day. There is just a travel "alert" right now as opposed 2 a travel "warning". They aren't saying u shouldn't travel to Europe they r sayin to just be "cautious". But then again if u would rather be safe then sorry, postpone the trip.

  • Probably not. I have tickets to travel to Ecuador in 10 days (visiting my daughter who lives and works in Quito). The country just had an attempted coup against their President and was locked down, with closed borders for 2 days. There has been no official warning issued from the US. We are still planning on traveling-
