When did u start brushing your baby's teeth?

  • when they cut there first teeth, then soon they did it on there own.

  • My dentist said you can start brushing as soon as you see the first tooth. She also recommended that you continue brushing (atleast assisting) until around the age of 8. As they get older you can let them try on their own, then you come in and give it the good once over. She said that even most adults don't brush correctly or long enough, much less a small child.

  • i started before teeth - i started with rubbing my sons gums with one of those super soft finger tip tooth brushes - it helps to condition the gums for cutting teeth - and got him use to it at an early age...

  • exact same here. He was about 6 or 7 months old

  • Started at birth, with swabbing gums after feedings with a clean rag, then once the first tooth ruptured used a fingertip brush until the child was old enough to hold their mouth open when I started using a soft infant brush.
