How often do you cook from scratch?

I mean no frozen or canned anything.

  • I would estimate about 90% of the time. Occasionally I will eat a Weight Watchers micowave meal if I am really short on time but that's it.

  • How is using somethign frozen or canned not cooking from scratch. So using canned tomatoes in my spaghetti sauce makes it not from scratch? When I use frozen veggies when I make chicken pot pie it isn't from scratch? Your definition is very different from mine. Using items like canned biscuits, premade sauces, frozen entrees, dried pasta and such is not cooking from scratch.

  • I love my microwave I do make some food from scratch cooking is not my thing at all and I am not ashamed to say that.
