What's the deal with voting up and down?

Seriously, is this not juvenile? If you answer a question truthfully, you have a bunch of immature women, who do not agree with your answer, voting it down. What's the point? If you want someone to kiss your butt, why not just start your question with... "Please kiss my butt".... I don't get it.

  • I don't think I will ever vote someone down, to me it seems a bit rude! I don't want to penalize someone for their opinion.

  • I never vote down. People are entitled to their own opinions, but I do vote up if I agree with someone or thats what I was going to say.
