  • I could never imagina being so frustrated that I locked my children in a closet. I have been at my witts end. Before my son was diagnosed and I didn't know how to help him he screamed and cried and hit me all the time. I got to where we turned the lock on his door around to give us a break when he 'got worked up' as we called it then. Never did locking him in a closet cross either of our minds. even if I was alone that would not ever cross my mind...well, it might cross my mind but I would NEVER dream of actually doing it! How awful for those kids. And the poor children who survived, what they have to live with... OMG...

  • The daycare I went to, and then helped out with later, used to do that when timeouts didn't do anything... I thought it was horrid then, I think it's horridly sad now...

  • I've playfully locked Glenn (and myself) in closets, but not for real like that... crazy.
