  • He might not be ready.

Is he dry during the day while doing activities? Does he stay dry during naps? Those are the major signs that he is ready.

My now 5 yr old was stubborn and absolutely refused to potty until he was nearly 3. Diapers might not be fun, but they are better than a child who was bullied into potty training by her daycare and then regressed when we went on vacation (my now 11 yr old.) It took a lot more to train her the second time.

  • If he is two and refuses then let him refuse. Take the energy and time you were going to spend on that and enjoy life. If he is 4 and refuses that may be different but if you start forcing now you could still be having the same issue when he is 4. SAVE YOURSELF NOWWWW

  • make it fun! let him watch daddy pee outside and reward him when he used the potty chair (pee or poop) some are scared of it so show him the fun in it, let him flush and when he is outside let him aim at stuff.

  • I would just put him back in diapers and try again when HE is ready.
