When did you move your baby into his own room?

My son is 4 months but I'm having a tough time moving him out of our room! I'm sure my husband is beyond ready...but its really tough for me!! Any suggestions?

  • I did it at 3 months. Ya gotta start somewhere. If you're worried if you wont hear your son if he wakes up hungry-no worries he'll let ya know :)

  • My first son had his own t room at birth. My 2nd son slept in my room in a bassinet until he was two months old then I put him the room with my oldest.

  • I moved my son into his own room at night time when he was 9 months old.

I just felt better having him next to me until that time.

The transistion wasn't hard as he always took naps in his crib. It was just at night that he slept in the portable crib next to my side of the bed.

  • my first was 6 month old, he needed his space!
    my second was nearly 2!
    my 3rd and 4th were 12 or 15 months, i forgot!
my 5th is 4 months old, and still with us.
i don't even plan on having another space for her until she is 1.
