  • I've lived here for 27 years... And honestly, I've seen maybe 4 humming birds my entire life... So I have no clue.

  • I'm in WA. They show up in April and May and leave around late Aug or early Sept depending on our weather here. We have a feeder and I love watching them, they are so entertaining. I have a huge container of lavender plants and there were 6 of them out feeding on the lavender one day. This year I put a lot of plants in that the hummingbirds like and they should be blooming next year.

  • Mine were hanging around pretty late in the year last year. I fed them up until about mid October, then I took the feeder down. I moved this year and haven't seen any around this new house yet. I'll probably put up a feeder in the spring next year to see if any come around.
