Where is a good place to get an inexpensive pair of glass frames?

I need new glassses. My insurance will cover the eye exam but not the price of frames or lenses. Anyone had a good experience with a less expensive place to buy glasses that look decent? Thank you

  • I've used Walmart too. My glasses have lasted 3 years from them.... now I need to get a new pair finally. Also, we've used a place called America's contact and eye glasses.... they have frames and glasses for as cheap as $39.99 sometimes. I'm not sure how many states they're in though.

  • Sears is the only place that my family goes. For kids they are great because they include the lenses for free. My husbands glasses are also cheaper there than anywhere else. Usually they have two for one price deals and what helps us is financing with no interest for a certain amount of time so that we can break it up between a few months. My daughter goes through quite a few pairs of glasses.
