What can I wear to an 80's gathering?

I have an upcoming meeting and the theme is 80's. I was born in 1984 so of course I don't remember the 80's. What kind of stuff was popular then that I could find & wear & where should I look to find these types of things?

  • A thriftstore.....get a big belt...put it in the middle of a blouse. Tease hair until huge, big earrings, bold colors, mini short skirts or/and tight tight leggings yes with socks.

  • I'd do a Madonna look, for sure. But if not, NEON colors, leggings with socks over them, frilly poofy short skirts, high pony tails, mega teased hair. Lots of colorful big bangles

  • There are so many things in stores now that are totally 80s so it shouldn't be hard to find some skinny jeans, a flannel shirt and some jelly bracelets. Put your hair in a side ponytail and you are all set! :)

  • Do you have a Party City store? We were just there and they had a HUGE section of 80s stuff!
