  • Chicken Bowtie Pasta

    1 box farfalle pasta
    1 can chicken
    cherry or grape tomatoes
    broccoli florets
    italian dressing
    olives *optional*
    parmesan cheese *optional*

Boil noodles according to package. Cut up tomatoes and broccoli florets if desired. Mix all ingredients together, add italian dressing *I usually have to have at least a whole bottle to start...the noodles soak it up!* Chill for about an hour.

You can add parmesan cheese either to the whole bowl before serving or individual servings too. If you'd like to serve more, just double or triple the recipe. I have to do that since I have 7 in my family. They love it and most of the time want leftovers :)

  • I'm not big on processed foods, but you can cut up chicken and just toss it in with rice-a-roni...quick and yummy. Or you can cut chicken breasts into strips, coat them in a breadcrumb mixture [add your choice of seasonings], and pan-fry them in olive oil.

    1/4 cup milk

    3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese

Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken mixture is hot and bubbling. Stir the chicken mixture. Top the chicken mixture with the biscuits.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuits are golden brown.

  • The ONLY thing I used canned chicken for is quesadillas. I make them a little different though, but my kids love them. I mix the chicken, some cheese (taco, mexican, cheddar, co-jack, whatever), some sour cream, and some cream of celery, add some taco seasoning. Spread over half a tortilla, fold the tortilla over, and heat til cheese is melted in a dry frying pan. Cut into wedges with a pizza cutter.
