  • Bump means if you like a question or you think the poster needs more answers you "bump" it.

  • Bumping the question means it will go to the top of a page and hopefully more people will see it. It's to help poster get more responses

  • To " BUMP" a ?...

Just means that it is moved to the "Top of the list" so to speak. To BUMP a question puts keeps it from falling way down the numerical list (so to speak) of questions asked. The more a question gets BUMPED the higher it is on the page.

Want a question kept up at the top of the pack so that more people can read it and respond, keep it BUMPED... :-)

  • Since you mentioned Cafemom and not just the answer section... It works the same in groups and journals. A bump in a group post will take it to the top of the forum and a comment in journal (which you can use the bump or the sweetpea) will bump it to the top of the recent comments list.

  • If you feel after answering the question that it deserves to be shared and seen by more members bring it to full view by bumping it up.
