  • I love my animals. We've got tons of 'em. But i dont like them in the house. I have a hard enough time keeping it clean with two boys running around! That being said, we DO have one indoor dog. He's my "firstborn". But he's the most well behaved dog you'll ever have the pleasure to meet.

But everyone else stays outside. My hunting dog and cat included. And, obviously, the horses and chickens are not welcome indoors! :D

  • Mine have always been inside pets. I'm in Ontario, and it gets cold in the winter... having a year round outside pet is not really an option here as they could freeze to death!

  • I always wanted our cat to be indoors, but keeping her inside was an endless pain. As soon as we let her get her taste of the outdoors, she was a lot easier to deal with too! She just comes inside to eat, snuggle, and sleep....she even does her business outside now, which is A-OK with me! :D So indoor/outdoor for us. I think it would be the same if we ever got a dog.

  • My dogs are always inside, my three female cats come in and out.

  • why? because if I am going to have dogs just to have them outside I wouldn't have them, they need interaction with humans and the cats do also but not all day.

  • I have two rottweilers that are outside pets. One of them started out as an inside dog then I had a really bad car wreck and was on crutches for about 12 weeks. He had to go outside at that time cause he didnt like my crutches and every time I would get up he would try to grab them away from me. I now have a sharpei puppy and a kitten that are inside pets.

  • inside! my cat was an outsider when we met each other, but I like him inside. He's behind in his shots and his collar always gets lost. He's very friendly so I'd be sad if someone called to him and took him in as their own. Plus I hear so many cat fights around this neighborhood.

  • Freela, how cold does Ontario get??? It's not uncommon to hit twenty below here, and our outside animals are all still alive and kickin'!
