  • haha sure the first time he spoke (but its pretty easy to flip it to a lie) in Genesis 3:1-4

1 Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the LORD God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God really say, 'You must not eat from any tree in the garden'?" 2 The woman said to the serpent, "We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, 'You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.' " 4 "You will not surely die," the serpent said to the woman. 5 "For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil."

  • He never lies. It's the God of the Bible who withholds information in order to 'test' and keep humans ignorant- so why is Satan given the bad rap?

  • First,I think you have to believe that there IS a Satan. I don't. I think we make our own hell on earth by behaving in hateful ways and having our own pwersonal demons inside....in other words, we are the bad guys sometimes.
THIS Satan story is just that: A story.
But I'll bite: When did he tell the truth.....LOL.

  • when he quoted scripture to JC...

He did quote scripture, but he took it out of context; he quoted it, but interpreted it to what he (Satan) wanted it to mean.  He was being deceptive.
