  • It would be nice, but people usually grow and learn from mistakes, which include heartache.......

  • Nope... How can we we learn from the past if we don't feel that pain?

  • Yup, I sure do. But then again, I have always had a tendency to hang onto things for far too long.

  • no, not really. although it is tempting to take advantage of various drug-induced sideroads to avoid having to deal with it. the problem is, when the 'pill'/etc wears off, reality is still there, waiting for you. so you weep, you moan, you bitch, you cry, you punch, you remember, and you breathe. then you cry some more..the beauty is, over time, if you allow yourself to go through all the stages of 'grief', they eventually space themselves out, and you get on with life.
everyone's been there, op..maybe a different 'color' of heartache, but no one is immune.

  • Absolutely not...going through it right now. It sucks bad, but I have learned so much about myself in the past few months and am a better person for it!!
