Why do children always wait until you clean them to get messy?

My boys were just bathed. Why did my 2yr old just poop? Lol. I swear I think they do this on purpose sometimes.

  • Because they wouldn't be children if they didn't. I can give my five year old a shower, get him dressed & by the time all is said & done I have to re-wash his face. I swear.

& Cleaning the house is the worst. I'll get it done & he'll come through like a hurricane.....

  • It could be worse, he could be constipated & crabby! The warm tub water must loosen things! One of my boys was like "Pig-Pen" on Charlie Brown, he was ALWAYS dirty! Even in the tub he got dirty, I swear! They grow out of that though. Just remember, "this too shall pass"! Hang in there.

  • I swear to heck my son waits until I change his pee diaper to poop. Two minutes after I change his pee he poops and I gotta change him again. And he waits until I've just vacuumed to spill something on the carpet or scatter toys all over the floor again

  • I don't have that problem when my daughter bathes, but I do have that problem after I clean the house! She will dirty it up just as fast as I clean it! LOL. Gotta love her though. :)
