How strictly did you follow the 'NO non-pasterized or soft cheese' rule while pregnant?

I have eaten Queso Fresco and other soft cheeses my entire life it was a staple in my home as a child and never changed. I can't stick to that damn rule. Am I horrible?

  • I don't purchase it too often anyway, but I had a huge craving for brie and bread the other day so I indulged on that. The midwife says a little in moderation is cool. As long as I stay away from Tuna the occasional piece of sushi is alright as well (in her opinion).

  • With my first pregnancy, I had no idea that you "shouldn't" have either! This pregnancy, dairy products make me sick - so it's easy to stay away from.
