  • Leap frog has tons of toys that teach that stuff.......or you can just sing the abc's EVERYDAY a few times a day......and count everything.....1 fork, 2 forks...etc...

  • Songs are good. Like 5 little ducks or 10 little indians. Books are good. Make it a game and grab several similiar toys and count. Hold them up and say "how many" then count them. Just be creative. That's what kids like the best. Have them stand up and jump x times. THen count as you jump. ABC blocks or color pages. "Today we color the letter A . What starts with A?" Nothin fancy, jsut straight repitition. They'll pick it up.

  • Leap frog fridge toy. The "Letter Factory" DVD is good too.

Have a letter of the day - pick out that letter in the books you read and at the store, make that letter out of playdoh, sing the ABC song when washing hands (just change the last part to "Now we've sung our ABC and our hands are squeaky clean")

Counting songs are great. Count out cookies and other small treats. Count steps. Make playdoh balls and count them.
