How in the world do you??

Kill tiny black bugs in the soil of your houseplants and little tiny flies that are on them as well?

  • I spray my houseplants with a mix of water & dishsoap to smother the bugs when I get them.

  • if that doesn't work, you will need to completely repot them, in fresh soil. remove all the old soil, especially the hard-packed, clumped soil that surrounds the roots, and replant. your plant will probably go into a 'shock', but will bounce back in due time.

  • if these are plants you set outside during the warmer months, you will need to repot them when you bring them inside.

  • Repot your plants before you bring them back into the house for the winter.
