is it okay to eat this while pregnant

Okay to make a long story short is it okay to eat blue cheese while pregnant. I have been craving it for the past week so I bought some. But I dont want to eat it yet til I know for sure that I can have it or not

  • I'm not sure, but I never heard that you can't eat blue cheese. Look it up on the internet or ask your OBGYN.

  • It is best to avoid soft cheeses such as Feta, Blue Cheese, Brie, Camembert, Roquefort and other blue veined cheeses.

  • If it says pasteurized - then it is safe most imported soft cheeses are not.

  • I don't really like blue cheese so I never craved it but I never heard anything about not eating it. I would ask your OBGYN.

  • They say it is not safe to eat un-pasterized (soft) cheeses but I am like adictted to feta this is my second pregnancy and I have yet to stop so do what you feel is best

  • If its pasteurized than you are safe if its not, dont eat it.
