Is this the type of Responsibility and Accountability you want running Health Care?

At the six month mark, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has already missed one-third of the new law’s mandated deadlines.

“A new analysis by the nonpartisan Congressional Research Service (CRS)found that the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) failed to meet one-third of the deadlines mandated by the new federal health care law, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

HHS failed to fulfill its requirements in seven of 22 deadlines before September 23, 2010, which was the six-month mark of the law being enacted

  • In addition to the seven missed deadlines, the CRS memo also noted four deadlines which for which there was insufficient public information available....

  • Well, you know, the government is soooo responsible and efficient at running all of their wonderfully successful programs, why wouldn't we want them taking over the healthcare system? It just gives me the warm-fuzzies all over to think what GREAT hands I'll be in.

  • The saddest part is that we allowed a bunch of overpaid/underworked congresscritters who exempted themselves to shove it down our throats.

I detest feeling like a speck of dust on 'their' little chessboard, and being only that important to them.
