How to get a stain out of hubby's jeans! Ahhh

I JUST bought my hubby a pair of jeans and he OF COURSE got oil on them from my car. How do I get this out?

  • Are they already distressed in any way? You can use sand paper on them and distress them a little bit. A hair dresses shared this tip, she does this when she gets hair dye on her jeans.

  • I would wet the area with water rub detergent into it and let it sit for a day then wash them as usual nothing fancy just time. GL

  • dawn dishsoap is great for removing long as its not a heat treated stain( dryer or iron)

  • I use Shout the one with the scrubber, for stains like that. & I add Oxyclean as well.

  • good luck with that, sounds like my husband!! he has ruined a few pairs of pants because i have not been able to get oil out.
