how many cupcakes ?

I have about 40 invites out there .. not including family .. How many cupcakes would you make ... I dont want a bunch left but i want plenty ? HMMMMMMMMMMMM what is your thoughts ...

  • I would make one per person for everyone that you invited. Some kids will eat two if there are plenty and that way you have enough.

  • So 40 plus family? I'd probably go with 80 or so.... Then again, I'm a cupcake fiend, so I'd totally eat whatever was left over, heh. But 2 per person doesn't sound completely unreasonable. To me, that is.

  • i would make 80 to because if you make one per person..what if that person brings a friend or a guess..and if you have some left over send them home with your guess if you dont want them..

  • 65... sounds like a good number, leaves extra for those who eat more than one and you can always send a few home with people if there are left overs.

  • You could do 40 or 50. Then just have other treats sitting around. Like some candy. Or Ice cream.
