I love carob powder. Do you eat this? ( or cook , or use it?)

This is only made in Iran, or grown there, and in those areas where it's hot year round. Israel, Pakistan, the old bible lands, all over there, that is why it's expensive plus it takes a year to ripen, it's sweet already, and has the same content as chocolate with NO caffeine. I've had it and it seems much more mellow, and really easy to enjoy. I would like to buy it frequently, without the high price. Any suggestions ?

  • Carob is grown commercially in all kinds of places. Most health food stores sell it in chips, powder, sauces, etc.

    It gives me wicked heartburn.
