What is the most exotic thing

you've ever eaten? Did you like it? I've been pretty tame so far. I've tried chitlins before but I was 5 maybe so I dont remember if I liked them or not, lol! I want to get a little braver these days and try new things.

  • Loroco... It's a tiny salty flower from central America. It is a little green bud. They are often made into a filling for pupusas.

  • I've eaten huitlacoche, but I don't think it was properly prepared. It tasted like dirt. It's supposed to be super good.

  • Durian - taste like custard at some points in time, other times it has an essence of rotten onion... all the while smelling like you're hanging out at a gas station while people are pumping. I'd say it's so-so. My daughter loves it.

    Caviar - wasn't too thrilled.

Frogs legs - they tasted like lemon pepper chicken. Not too bad.

Raw deer heart - I was young. I remember liking it but I doubt I'd eat it now.

Toasted meal worms - It was really... I didn't care much for it.

Chicken heart/gizzards - Not too bad.

All sorts of Sushi/Sashimi - love the stuff

Vegemite - Got my husband addicted to the stuff.

I know I've tried other things but I can't think of anymore off hand. I'm always willing to try stuff and I've been around a lot of Indonesian and Korean foods, and we're always looking to try new things.
