So anyone receive alimony that didn't have disability? I was curious how hard it was to get.

  • I will be getting alimony... altho I am hearing impaired but I can work so I am not truly disabled. Just cannot find a stinkin job!

  • Alimony has nothing to do with disability. Alimony is based on your ability to survive and how much he is responsible for helping you do that. Alimony is usually settled in the divorce (if you are still married) or you can find the information on the web what you need to know and do. I don't know what state you are in but where I live it is called "Domestic Relations". Hope this helps
