  • Cell phones, internet sites like this one for moms to chat (especially helpful for those of us who were SAHM, and have special needs children--being able to discuss such issues with moms from all over the country/world has been incredibly helpful--just a few years ago that was impossible and much more limiting), online ordering of just about everything, in addition to computers and other portable technology/devices.

  • I was in high school from 1980-84. We did not have remotes for the tv, my entire childhood, we thought it was a huge thing to get a push button cordless phone. A microwave, cable, gaming systems and a VCR. Technology has sure advanced.
