Do you ever hear someone use the word "Ignorant" when you know they mean "arrogant"?

I have noticed a few and wonder where the confusion came from.

Ignorant means you lack knowledge in something. Arrogant means jerky, stupid, mean (basically) So saying "That's ignorant" doesn't always make sense when you're pretty sure thats not what they would say if they knew what it meant.
