  • First off no school can techcnically discrimate (by not letting your child attend) against not being fully potty trained. Don't let them try and tell you other wise its the LAW. Second keep her in pull ups if she's wetting herself in public. Then ask her every 30 mins or so if she has to go to the bathroom, if she never wants to try try bridery. Even if its a little hersey kiss (this is what my oldest liked) And lastly, they will get the hang of potty training a lot quicker when they see their peers at school doing it.
All this coming from a mommy (me) whos oldest boy wasnt fully potty trained till 4 and already in preschool. And my youngest now 3 is starting preschool and getting the hang of it. Good Luck!!

  • Don't ask her if she needs to.

Take a few days up to a week. Put her in underwear. Have her sit and try every 15 minutes like clockwork. Just say, "Ok, it's time to go try and potty again." Do it until it is routine and she comes and tries and hasn't had an accident in a bit. Once that happens, up it to every 30 minutes. Repeat these steps until she is running to go on her own. It shouldn't take long if you are VERY CONSISTENT. Do not falter any in the day or week. She is 4, so, it shouldn't take but 3 or 4 days.

  • Is she aware that she is wetting herself? If she just does not want to go to the bathroom, I would talk to her about that.

  • This might sound so silly but how much interaction does she get with other kids her age? My oldest who will be 5 in december didnt really have much contact with kids her age until recently, she was having problems potty training and wetting herself.. all it took was kids her age making fun of her ONCE for wetting herself and she stopped
