  • Loaded potatoes. Bacon, cheese and some kind of veggie. We are cleaning out our deep freezer and bacon is one of the last things.

  • Good question.... I had thought about doing a crock pot chicken dinner, but I would not have enough time to get it done in-- especially since I need to buy and prep some of the veggies first. So that will be tomorrow nights supper instead. So for tonight I think spaghetti and garlic breadsticks or Grandma's casserole sound good. Best of all hubs can fix them!

  • I'm going to make Railroad Steak tonight.

Take Cube Steak and put in a egg bath then flour and fry as usual (remove meat to platter). Then take 2 onions and slice thin, sautee in the meat drippings and add 1 bell pepper cut in thin slices. Then add 1 to 2 cans of stewed tomatoes and 1/2 can water. Return Meat to pan and let simmer 30-45 minutes. Make either egg noodles or white/brown rice to serve with Steak.
